Days, couples and families like this simply don’t come around very often. On a quiet Thursday just before Christmas, Alton, Shivvon and their nearest and dearest held an intimate gathering at their church in Cape Town. Their big wedding celebration was scheduled for the following day, but this couple felt they wanted to make their heartfelt and sincere marital commitment to one another without the distractions of the energy and sometimes chaos that surrounds the big party. My heart was filled to overflowing. Two nicer and more easygoing people, I can guarantee you wont find anywhere. Alton with his calm, gentle and consistent demeanor, and Shivvon with her contagious joy and a giggle that almost always overflows into her clapping her hands with delight. I hope these images of their ceremony and couple shoot will provide some small insight into the utter glory of these two beloved characters, and serve as a reminder to you, Alton and Shivvon, of this beautiful moment in time.
