Goodness gracious, how lucky can one photographer get? I think Barend and Madeli are a couple who both as people, and as clients, sum it up pretty succinctly. This stylish and beautiful duo, both with such enthusiasm for details and energy to put into their pictures will be joining us here in the Cape from Johannesburg in September, for their wedding! I couldn’t help feeling a little guilty that they had flown all the way down to enjoy the scenery and ocean, and were greeted by one of the Mother City’s notoriously unpredictable, deep winters days. These two were such good sports though, that they ignored the icy rain and wind on Blouberg’s beach and happily wore their summery outfits, never once rushing me in the least to finish up! I think you’ll all agree though, that they are most definitely rewarded for their efforts with the beautiful pictures they made! Barend en Madeli, ek is so opgewonde om julle troue af te neem en om meer tyd saam julle deur te bring. Hoopelik is dit volgende keur in die sonskyn en warmte! I also need to make a very special mention of my friend Jess who assisted me on the day … she was sick as a dog with flu, and being the kind of person she is … came and stood in the freezing wind to help us out anyway! I hope you all enjoy these pictures as much as I’ve enjoyed them already … bring on the new wedding season!!!

PS I went out and bought a pair of boots exactly like Madeli’s right after the shoot … aren’t they the cutest thing ever to happen in foot fashion? I reckon so, hahaha…
