Daine & Marcia’s Wedding

At least once a year I have the pleasure of working at the lovely Hudsons venue on Vredenheim Estate in Stellenbosch. This year, it was to witness the marriage of Daine and Marcia – two extremely accomplished human beings in the medical and scientific fields. Their day however, could not have been less scientific, and was completely creative, carefree and filled to the brim with love! Their touching ceremony by the lake was followed by good food, the company of loved ones and a truly first class opening dance! Marcia, who was a ballerina for many years of her life (and wore the sweetest little ballerina charm on her garter) choreographed their elegant steps into the joy of their married life. Although the festive season already seems very far behind us now, the opulent purples, golds and reds of their colour scheme were the perfect choice for a mid December wedding. They created a warmth that served both as the palette for their day and tied into the classic Christmas feel we were all revelling in at the time. Daine and Marcia’s sincerity and genuine loving natures are attributes that I greatly admire in the couples I’m lucky enough to work with, and made them and their day a wonderfully memorable one for me. A day, I’m most certainly chomping at the bit to share with you all today and relive through their images. So, without further ado, I give you (drum roll please) … Daine and Marcia! The Stellebosch sweethearts! Guys, I know this post was long awaited, but I could not be more thrilled to share it on this scorching Friday. Please enjoy your wedding blog post! All my love, Claire xxx
