You’ve probably been seeing these two smiling faces all over my social media this past week, and already feel pretty familiar with Dan and Sariska. Teachers, foodies, and the nicest darn people you’d be able to find! They met through mutual expat friends, while both working in education in Korea. Two avid homebody’s and foodies, their passion for easy-going locations and excellent food, led them to the obvious choice for wedding venue, the ever lovely, South Hill Estate in Elgin. Dan’s friends and family flew in from Portland, Oregon and Sariska’s arrived from a little closer in Grabouw. Their day was as perfectly sincere as they are, and meeting so many people who were so truly thrilled by this union was the most immense pleasure to be a part of. Nothing seemed to worry Dan and Sariska, not even the failure of the jewelry she had ordered from overseas’ arrival. Instead, she wore something that Dan’s mom had brought along. A sentimental something old, her own mothers pearl necklace and earrings. The day was as simply elegant as what Dan and Sariska are, and their personalities and loved ones will remain very close to my heart for years to come.
