Beginning this blog post with an image seemed the only logical thing to do since these essence of this day couldn’t possibly be summed up in mere words. Samantha and Frans tied the knot at the whimsical Blue Gum Country Estate in Stanford, on a drizzly Saturday last month. It was an intimate affair with only their closes friends and family in attendance. Every detail was seen to with the greatest of care, but the romance of the aesthetics paled in comparison to the couples own. With so many happy tears shed freely throughout the day, I couldn’t help but be pulled into the real emotion behind a wedding. The enormity of a father seeing his daughter in her wedding dress, and the awe passing between a couple as they meet at the end of the aisle. Frans and Sam, through their own transparency of emotion allowed us all in to see the real thing on their wedding day. I was reminded once again of what a special profession I’m in, and just how HUGE the moments that I’m privileged to share with a couple are in their lives. That culmination of all the time and effort they’ve put into arriving at the day where they promise themselves to one another for the rest of their lives! Frans and Sam, the memory of your wedding day holds an incredibly special place in my heart, and I thank you for the way in which you shared it with me, and with everyone in attendance. I wish you the happiest and most joyfully abundant marriage under the sun. May these images be the first taste of a reminder of all that you already share, and an inspiration for what is yet to come. All my love, Claire xxx
