When I first met Tash and Gareth, they told me their wedding would be a massive family affair, and boy was it! Loved ones flew in from all over the country to celebrate with this couple, and also, to help pull of their dream wedding day. Gareth’s mom made the intricate wedding cakes, Natasha’s mother made all the toadstools used in the table decor, and a loving aunty carefully curated all of their floral design. It was amazing to see the love and care that was showered over this occasion! From my side, it’s been a long time dream to shoot at the beautifully rustic De Uijlenes wedding venue in Gaansbaai, with their forest clearing for ceremonies and a simply enormous barn for the wedding receptions! The abundance of nature – the sky, water and greenery was of the utmost importance to Gareth and Natasha, since the great outdoors has played a big part in their love story. A more perfect location for their woodlands wedding was not to be found! This day was full of detail, imagination and the culmination of hours of excited dreaming for what it was to hold.
