Cabrières d’ Avignon in Montagu might just be my favourite new venue find of 2016! The sun shone down to envelope the whole valley in it’s summery light, and high school sweethearts, Keenan and Jane, tied the knot after almost ten years of dating. The magnificence of their wedding day was made perfect in the simplicity and ease with which they chose to celebrate it. Judging by the touching speeches of friends and family, this day was the perfect reflection of the relaxed and beloved couple they so clearly are. They said their vows in the shade of a Pepper tree, overlooking sweeping vineyards and purple mountains. A backdrop that would make any photographer not present on the day, green with envy! Not only was this day special with regards to location, details and good food, but it was close to my heart owing to the fact that I’ve known both Keenan and Jane since our first year of school. It is truly an honour to be reunited with so many familiar faces through the career I’ve chosen. Seeing how people grow, and where their lives are taking them. It’s extraordinary to realise that those early years in our primary school uniforms are long gone, and to be able to see the adults we all now are. In this case, the beautiful couple, Keenan and Jane, becoming husband and wife. May every year ahead only bring you more joy than you’ve already experienced together guys. Please enjoy your long awaited wedding photographs, and I hope they’ll bring back all the wonderful memories of a truly magnificent day! All my love, Claire xxx
A very special word of thanks to the lovely Jane Jordaan, for all the extra trouble in helping us achieve Keenan and Jane’s photographs. You and your team are a fantastic asset to the industry and I had the most enormous fun working with you!
