To my mind, Sundays are best spent with loved ones. Relaxed. Unfussy. Slow. Meeting Kyle and Claire recently for their engagement shoot meant I got to do all of my favorite Sunday things, as well as getting to meet two charming and like-minded people! They decided that they wanted their engagement shoot to reflect their normal Sunday rituals, so that one day when they’re old and grey, they can remember the way their Sundays looked as a young engaged couple. Isn’t that just the sweetest thing?! We began at their apartment block, and strolled our way through the streets of Woodstock. Chatting about the up-coming wedding and how they met, and then stopping wherever I saw a nice patch of light or an interesting background. Best of all, we grabbed some takeaway coffee for the walk home! I know I’m always very enthusiastic about my job and clients, but this shoot was truly something special – work that I completely forgot was work, because honestly – I couldn’t imagine a nicer way to spend my Sunday afternoon! Kyle and Claire, you two are just the sweetest, loveliest kind of people around and I’m having such fun getting to know you both ahead of your wedding next month. I cannot wait to see you both dressed up in your finery and saying your vows to one another. I just know this ceremony is going to be one of the deepest kind of sincerity and joy!
