Well hello and good morning to you all happy wedding-watchers! The warm March days associated with Marc and Irma’s glorious Meerendal wedding are long gone, but luckily as we sit here in the chilly May air you can all have your hearts warmed as I did remembering this special day between two even more special people:) As I sit writing this, I’m desperately trying to pinpoint some special, specific thing that stood out to me about Marc and Irma. The honest truth is that trying to pinpoint any one thing would be a feat far beyond the capabilities of anyone who knows them. I could mention how they wanted to hold hands and say hello (without actually seeing one another) for a few moments before their wedding ceremony, or the anticipation on Marc’s face as he waited at the foot of the aisle before turning around to see his bride arriving. I could tell you about the way they manage to to incorporate their full individual selves into their couples unit, and have enough space for the decor to reflect Marc’s great love for all things cycling, and Irma’s passion for exceptional food with their wedding cake by Kanya Hunt. I could tell you all these things, and many many more without ever having fully portrayed what I felt being a part of this heartfelt wedding, but as always … I hope the images will say what I cannot. Marc and Irma, you’ve been so lovely from start to finish, and I truly hope you will enjoy reliving these moments the way I did in editing these pictures. All my love and hugs to you both, back across the ocean where you are now, Claire xxx
Gorgeous photos, as always!
