I so love it when all the elements of a wedding day come together like they did with Pieter and Rouvé’s celebrations. When the utter love and dedication of a couple is offset with the most sublime taste in wedding styling – oh yes! The stuff I dream of! From the time I met them they were the picture of calm and gentleness, and this manner continued from the beginning to the end of their wedding journey. With the varied scenes of beautiful Winery Road Forest as a backdrop to their nuptials – the ceremony held in the forest, drinks around the dam with its mountain views and the ceremony in there cozy venue with bonfires to keep guests warm – we were all treated to scene upon scene of loveliness. They tied the rich colours of their flowers, to the Autumn season outside and the overall effect was one as beautiful as the two hearts that promised themselves to one another. I’d shoot this wedding with these wonderful people and their families any day again – Pieter and Rouvé, I’ve loved sharing in these moments with you two and I wish you every happiness in your married life together.
