Renier and Helen, what can I say? They’re as refined, laid-back and beautiful as the surrounds they chose for their recent engagement shoot in Franschoek. These two have such an easy way about them, and made me feel more like a friend joining them on a lazy Sunday afternoon than their photographer. Luckily for me, I am their wedding photographer, and will be afforded the enormous joy of capturing them getting married later this month at Babylonstoren! In preparation for the big day, they took me to explore a few of their favourite places in the town so close to their hearts. A champagne tasting at Le Lude, the mountain views from Haute Cabriere and a stroll through the streets of the quaint village itself. I’m sure we can all agree that Renier and Helen are going to make the most beautiful wedded couple on the 17th of December, and with these images to go by, I know the ones from their wedding will be even better! Thank you, Helen and Renier, for being so patient in waiting for this blog post during my busy season, and for the lovely cup of coffee after our shoot!
