I’m honestly, just so truly excited to be blogging Simon and Sandra’s wedding this morning! These two fun-loving people said their “I Do’s” at Jordan Wine Estate amidst their closest friends, family, and most importantly – their three beautiful children. Lucy, Bella and James. Almost everyone in attendance have travelled from the U.K. and other locations across the globe to share in the great joy of this wonderful little family, and Stellenbosch, did not disappoint! Blue skies, mountains for days and some of the best food around were on special order (Sandra specifically having asked for some food-porn shots;) and light-hearted laughter from the children and adults alike. I love being a part of days like this, where the reason for the celebrations is never forgotten and the small glitches go unnoticed because of the immense enthusiasm to make the most of every second of the magic that is a wedding day. Incidentally … do you know who can party? Radiologists! And since we had a room full of them, not a second of dancing and silliness was wasted! Simon and Sandra, it was such an honor to be a part of the first of your two wedding celebrations, and meeting your family and friends was just one delight after the other! Your genuine warmth, and that of the people you’ve surrounded yourselves with, made it my absolute pleasure to be in your company. Truth be told – I’ll be sad when we’ve done our final handovers and don’t have a reason to send excitable emails back and forth! Luckily though, I’ve still got your family shoot to edit, so watch this space! In the meantime though, please enjoy your blog post and the excitement of sharing it with loved ones!
