I love that people nowadays are making an effort to document every special moment as their lives unfold. Weddings, children, first homes, and in Donato and Mary-Jo’s case, the expecting of their precious first child, Salvatore. I was over-the-moon excited when I received Mary-Jo’s first email describing her dream maternity shoot, and the afternoon I spent with this budding family was better than my wildest dreams! The adventure of growing together is one that these two are doing with such enthusiasm and style, and I can’t begin to tell you what a joy it was to be asked to play a small part in that. With the help of a very talented Hair and makeup artist, Dale Titus, we styled things up and used their beautiful home as a canvas for this intimate pregnancy session. I could go on and on about how beautiful everything was and just how lovely Donato and Mary-Jo are to work with, but I’m pretty sure the pictures will speak volumes more than I could. This little boy is coming into a world where he is already so loved and cherished, and Donato and Mary-Jo, you two are going to make the loveliest parents.
