Wade, Cara-Ann and I had been communicating via email for months ahead of their wedding day. It was only about one week before the time that I actually got the chance to meet these two movers and shakers face to charming faces! Apart from planning a wedding, they had been moving from Johannesburg to Cape Town, as well as starting up their own physiotherapy practice in Claremont. It was clear to me from the word go that they were my kind of people, and even before knowing how beautiful their special day would be, I was excited to spend a day with two personalities with so many of the qualities I admire in others! That being said, when the big day rolled around, I was captivated by the beauty and sincerity of everything that went into their wedding. From the spectacular choice of venue in Ashanti Estate, to Cara-Ann’s customised Maggie Sottero dress, the warm sunset, the choreographed opening dance and mostly, the way their emotions were so apparent. Every smile and tear were genuine, and filled my heart to capacity! I will never tire of meeting people like you, Wade and Cara-Ann, and sharing in days like yours that leave me humbled by the exquisite human beings I meet. Please enjoy your beautiful images and never lose any of the magic you two have, apart and together. Your loveliness is infectious! All my love, Claire xxx
