Werner and Marlene are the first couple to kick off my 2014 blog posts for the year, and the dreamlike whimsy of their images could not be a better start to a fantastic twelve months of happiness! These two lovelies will be getting married in May of this year, and we spent a summery late afternoon documenting the shared joy of their engagement:) Apart from being so easy and natural to photograph, they’re both intelligent and very skilled musicians! To add an original touch of personality to their images, we decided to incorporate their instruments in the shoot. I cant imagine anything lovelier than taking photographs in the Jonkershoek valley, while listening to live music floating through the fresh, open air around us! Thank you both so much for making this such a magical experience and filling my heart with joy, and excitement to be spending these special occasions with you!
