When love is real, everyone can see it. Not because of declarations on social media, or a couple telling you how in love they are, but by watching them interact in the most normal of circumstances. A wedding day however, is not normal in any way, shape or form. As beautiful and special as any couples big day may be, it’s always the in-between moments that show off how sincerely loving a pair are towards one another. On this particular day, Andrew and Chrystal melted my heart again and again. Walking into the reception hall that morning, I found the groom and groomsmen hard at work making floral arrangements and decorating the venue. The girls were getting ready and couldn’t help anymore, but Andrew insisted on making sure everything looked perfect. Not because perfect floral arrangements were his dream, but because he knew how much Chrystal wanted things to look a certain way, and cutting down the time for his own photographs with the guys (or perhaps drinking a beer) wasn’t as important as her happiness. From her side, Chrystal was phoning her groom to reassure him that she was happy with whatever had been done and to tell him that he should go relax with the boys. Of course, everything looked magnificent and the appreciation from both sides was radiating from them. Later in the evening, I couldn’t help but notice how often these two stopped what they were doing to stare and smile at one another. This love, this true and sincere love was everything a wedding day should be, and as beautiful as everything looked (don’t worry … the pictures are coming guys!) this love was bigger and better than anything else could be. Andrew and Chrystal, thank you so much for having me along for this ride. I’m overjoyed to be sharing your wedding photographs today! All my love, Claire xxx
