There’s precious little that set my heart a flutter like a wedding gown billowing in the wind. Despite it being November, the Cape had been experiencing more storms than usual, and Ben and Lisa’s winelands wedding fell on one of these unseasonably moody days. Their loved ones flew in from around the world, and Ben and Lisa (who live in the Czech Republic) chose to celebrate their union at the beautiful Môreson Wine Farm in Franschoek, South Africa. I’m a huge fan of intimate wedding celebrations, and this couple hit the nail on the head when they planned their own – all via the internet I might add! Gentle Lisa with her shiny brown hair and classic beauty, looked fit for a Jane Austin novel, and a dapper Ben her charming suitor. These two are of the friendliest, most genuine people one could meet, and I had an amazing time sharing in their happiness and excitement at the day they’d waited so long to share together. Rain and wind didn’t keep them from making their day all that they’d hoped it would be, and as I’m sure you’ll see from their images, it was picture perfect! Ben and Lisa, meeting and working with you was such a thrill and a highlight in my season’s wedding calendar! I wish I could show you these pictures in person over a cup of coffee, but luckily we can share the excitement over the internet! Enjoy every moment of reliving your special day! All my love, Claire xxx
