Happy couples are always the most beautiful (not to mention easy) to photograph, and gosh … that’s exactly what Clyde and Kerry were. These two are on leave from their jobs, working on a yacht in Europe, to get married. After months of electronic communication, we finally met and spent time getting to know one another in Cape Towns Company Gardens. Squirrels were fed and enticed (Kerry may or may not have been attacked in the ankle) and we all made a massive combined effort to hunt for the very specific look of acorn that I wanted for the shots of their engagement ring. All in all, it was the loveliest, most spontaneous and unique afternoon, and a shoot I’ll always remember most fondly!
