If there was one word I’d use to describe Franz and Sarah‘s January nuptials, it would be “whimsy”. Every detail (right down to the Capetonian heat muting itself to allow a gentle drizzle during the couple shoot) was sheer romance. The ladies and gentlemen of the bridal party, readied themselves in the beautiful farmhouse on Meerendal Wine Estate, as guests from all over the world gathered in the chapel to await the newlyweds to be. The pastel bridesmaids dresses matched the green and blue tones of the wineland landscape outside, and a dapper Franz in his grey suit complimented Sarah’s porcelain features and creamy, Charlotte Balbier gown in the way that wedding photographers always daydream that they will! This beautiful pair and their loved ones had walked a long road to their wedding day, but the hours of planning and problem solving paid off spectacularly. The culmination of it all, which I hope you’ll be able to enjoy with them, being their precious memories captured in this set of images! Please take your time to appreciate all the hard work and love this couple put into the details of their day and show them some appreciation with a happy comment or two below! Franz and Sarah, you’ve been so patient in waiting on your pictures and I hope that every single one will have been worth the wait! All my love, hugs and well wishes, Claire xxx
