I hate to sound like a inspirational quote – but in actual fact I don’t care if I do – so here’s the truth. These two make the most overcast day seem like bright sunshine. The rain appear to be glittering and not giving us a run for our money, and the penguin poop … well. Ok, thats still pretty gross! But Garret and Kayla are the reason for so many of my smiles and light hearted moments this wedding season! We did their “engagement shoot” at first light a morning or so after they flew in from their honeymoon in the Seychelles. (Stay with me here). They had their official Temple Sealing and first wedding reception in Florida, then had a bit of a holiday, and congregated once again with friends and family in Cape Town to celebrate with their South African family! I’ve known Kayla since I shot her brothers wedding in Atlanta, Georgia (you can see that post here), and being able to share in yet another significant moment in her family’s lives was a dream come true. Getting to know Garrett and some if his nearest and dearest was the icing on the cake! You two … is it ok that I’m more than a little wistful about beginning to post your images? I’ve loved every moment, but I’m not keen on any of this being over just yet! Sending you both the biggest hugs and love from my side, Claire xxx
