Francis and Janes. Two of the most genuinely warm humans you could hope to find, or even better … to photograph! I think it tells you a lot about a couple when their chapel of choice is a majestically, intricately, gnarled Milkwood Tree like the one at Mosaic Private Sanctuary in Stanford. We stood beside the lake, felt the fresh breeze against our faces and watched this lovely pair promise to continue loving one another the way the already have been for some time. This venue is something TRULY special, and the landscapes and laid back attention to detail make for the perfect spot to celebrate family and togetherness. And goodness, did that togetherness shine on their day! Friends and family were responsible for nearly all the decorating of the reception area, and it was the most unique concept I’ve seen in quite some time! I loved that the deep colours and books were not only aesthetically pleasing, but of relevance to the couple, with their love for education and classical music. They were also so clever in hiring a dedicated barista to tend to the coffee needs of their guests (and photographers) on what turned into a chilly, August night following the fresh Spring day. I knew I was going to love sharing in this time with Fran and Janes from her very first mail many months ago, and I have to say … knowing them got better and better with every interaction. As much as I loved this wedding, I’m so very sad that its already happened and that they aren’t making it an annual thing. Janes, Fran, I hold you two in the highest esteem and will forever be grateful to have been your chosen photographer. Thank you so much for inviting me along on this wedding adventure! All my love, Claire xxx
