Even on its worst day, Babylonstoren is still one of the most beautiful places anyone could hope to find themselves. This particular day however, the scenery was met and exceeded by the beauty of the couple in its midst! Stefan and Colette (as well as their lovely moms!) were visiting in Cape Town ahead of their wedding day on this beautiful estate this coming May. Although all our previous contact had been via email and phone, getting to know them in person at last was easier and more relaxed than you can imagine. This of course, is the most wonderful testament to the personalities behind the smiles you’ll see in this blog post! I loved exploring with the two of them, and seeing their interactions with one another – you can always tell when a couple are best friends too. Despite Colette’s poor heel having been injured recently, and her being weighed down by a moon boot, we walked the gardens from end to end. Laughing, chatting and getting excited about how all the scenery would already be something different by the time we return in a few months. I love the warm and fuzzy feelings I get when meeting people like them, and knowing that I’ll be able to be a part of a day they will never forget.
