Ooooh, tiny salty toes and seaside giggles with the Cloete family … the stuff magical weekends are made of! Just look at Jamie’s happy laughter as he plays between the water and sand with his adoring parents. Spending time with the Cloete’s for their second family session was a delight and an eye-opener! The last time I met Jamie, he was just going on for a year old (you can view the shoot here), and now he’s a sturdy little boy, expecting the arrival of his first sibling in a few months! I just loved chasing after him to capture his seaside activity. As his dad said to me – he isn’t made to sit still, this kid is built to play! And play all four of us did, as the wintery weather started creeping into Cape Town a few weeks back. I hope this family’s genuine happiness and free-spirited images will warm your souls as the rain beats down on our windows outside. There is nothing more special for me than to see such joyful faces and seasons in peoples lives, passing across my computer screen.
