To merely say how much I love and adored Wade and Fiona, would probably come across as insincere and business-gushy. So rather than doing that, I thought I’d give you a list of reasons why I wish everyone was them and how they’ve been so much more than just clients to me.
Fiona specifically chose a wedding dress with pockets, so she’d know what to do with her hands and not feel awkward – isn’t that the most adorable kind of foresight?
Wade thanked me in his speech, and then they came as a couple during their own reception to thank me again (may I also just say that these aren’t humans who are short friends on either … for a room that was filled with mostly foreigners, it was packed!).
Everything is personal to them – every email, every thank you for their engagement photos. Emails to specifically tell me just how many compliments they were getting from their loved ones. They go above and beyond when it comes to gratitude for the things the so richly deserve, and that sincerity is in everything they do. Both of them. All the time. They’re genuine, just down-to-earth, good eggs!
Besides which, they planned this whole shindig from overseas, and just LOOK at the result! Beautiful and memorable and good old fashioned fun! Who knows how to have fun? The IRISH know how to have fun!! From the minute I walked into the Vineyard Hotel, every room was ringing with laughter and joking and smiles. Everyone was there to have a good time, and above all else, to make sure the couple had the best day of their lives. I would honestly do a wedding like this over and over and over again (if only to get the chance to hang out with this awesome group of people). Enjoy these pictures guys! All my love, Claire xxx
